Welcome to Stardust
WELCOME to Stardust's new website. The name for the shop was chosen, after much deliberation, with a view to everyone being able to sprinkle some stardust into their homes.
Stardust, based at 16 Norfolk Street, Sunderland is a family run café and gift shop owned and run by sisters Maria and Rachel Duke.
We both have a passion for shopping and love nothing better than finding something special for our homes and different or unusual gifts for others. Like everyone else we also enjoy having something to eat and drink while looking for that special something. These two interests combined have led to us opening our own exciting and different café and gift shop combination in the heart of the regenerated eastern quarter of Sunderland.
Our Shop
Our shop stocks some exciting and cutting edge brands including LSA, True Grace, Big Tomato Company, Repeat Repeat, Bonnie Baby, Rebecca Stoner and Lancaster & Gibbings to name but a few.
People have asked us how we selected the products for our shop and the answer is quite easy - we just chose the things we loved and would have in our own homes and hope our customers will love them too.

Our Cafe
We have designed our fully licensed café with everyone in mind. Whether you're a weary shopper in need of a well earned rest, a city worker who wants a satisfying lunch or you just want to meet friends to gossip over a coffee.
We offer a selection of breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas and snacks throughout the day which can all be enjoyed within the relaxed and comfortable interior with views over Sunniside Gardens.
